Electrostatic Precipitator

Since its formation, ELEX India has installed numerous electrostatic precipitators in various fields of application. Together with our parent, ELEX AG, we have built more than 6000 precipitators. The design of our Electrostatic Precipitator has evolved and been refined over the years to keep with the ever stricter and more stringent pollution control norms of the government.

The typical applications for electrostatic precipitators are :

• Production plants for cement, limestone and gypsum (kilns, mills, driers and coolers)
• Coal- and oil-fired boilers, coal driers and coal mills
• Refuse and sludge incinerators
• Gas production plants
• Iron and steel production plants (ore dressing, blast furnaces, converters and scarfing machines)
• Production plants in the electro-metallurgical, chemical and pulp and paper industry
